Great dinner and breakfast, tasty and well priced. The room had amazing views of the mountains and a bath, which was nice after a day of hiking. The facilities were good and the shower was one of the best on the hiking tour.
The service wasn't particularly friendly, which made us feel unwelcome and like second grade guests. The room furniture was beat up and the bathroom had only one working light which made it hard to see during a shower.

The hotel had a modern and welcoming lobby and bar/dining area, with a decent breakfast spread. the room was fairly standard but clean with a lovely shower and good storage space. the hotel also provided a nice picnic.
The service was rushed and harried and allowed large groups to be noisy without consideration for other guests.

Christmas Bliss at the Swiss Alps
The cozy atmosphere of a Swiss mountain hotel is unparalleled during Christmas, with a wholesome snowy setting that spells serenity. Not faltering to this image is a hotel I chanced upon in the Swiss Alps. The hotel lobby and communal spaces were beautifully done up, the staff was friendly to the point of heart-warming, we never had to worry about running out of heated water with their central heating system, and the highlight of my stay was the exceptional cuisine that encompassed local flavors with a contemporary twist, including a savory steak and fondue.
The hotel did have its drawbacks, with the check-in and check-out process being rather cumbersome, which took away from the essence of our trip. The beds were not the most comfortable, and the way the floor was constructed could be felt to a great extent – correction in the bouncy twin beds is required.

The hotel in La Fouly offers fantastic value for money. The basic rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need, including a bath and plentiful hot water. But what really sets this hotel apart is the breathtaking view of the mountains from the rooms with great views. It's a real treat to wake up to such a stunning sight. The hotel is also conveniently located near the center of La Fouly, making it easy to explore the town and the surrounding area.
Everything was just fine.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem of a hotel in a small Swiss town. The view of the mountains from my room with a balcony was breathtaking. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The breakfast had a good variety of options and the wifi worked well. The hotel also had convenient boot and luggage storage for trekkers like myself.
Although there were a few drawbacks, like a lack of washcloths and soap in the room, and the absence of shampoo in the shower, overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the quality of the accommodations and the included meals.

Hotel Edelweiss is located in the center of the small town, offering easy access to nearby amenities. The very bright bar area provides a lively atmosphere, while the outside boot area is convenient for hikers.
The heating in the rooms is not efficient, making it uncomfortable during colder months.
